Venn Innovation has accepted five companies into its Set to Scale Program, which helps established companies increase their sales.
The New Brunswick innovation hub last year called for applications for the program, which uses the Scaling Up methodology of Verne Harnish, a noted author, speaker and scale-up expert. Venn said thousands of companies around the world have used this methodology to navigate challenging times and build success.
Venn has partnered with the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency to provide this six- to 12-month course, in which the participating companies will work on their growth plans with a certified scaling up coach by focusing on four subjects: people, strategy, execution, and cash.
"We are really excited at the opportunity to be part of the Set to Scale Program,” said Mike Wright, the CEO of MESH/Diversity, one of the participating companies. “At MESH, it is the perfect time to implement an operating system into the business. We are on a very strong growth trajectory and it is key that we have a framework in place to ensure that we all continue to row in the same direction.”
The five participating companies are:
Atlantic Signs, Quispamsis, NB
Since 1948, Atlantic Signs has provided high-quality sign advertising for businesses in Atlantic Canada and other locations. It designs, manufactures and installs signs in commercial establishments.
HealthConnect, Moncton
HealthConnect manages consumer and patient care programs for enterprise clients in the healthcare space, such as pharmaceutical and medical device companies. Its services include contact centres, multi-channel contact and patient counselling lines.
InteliSys Aviation, Saint John
