We’re thrilled to announce that Entrevestor Live will be held this year in collaboration with Tribe Network in downtown Halifax at their new office location, 1717 Barrington Street.

This announcement is more than just a change of location from our previous announcements. Our work together on the half-day event on Nov. 14 will mark the beginning of a new partnership between Tribe and Entrevestor.

Now in its third year, Entrevestor Live showcases the biggest and best of the region’s high-growth companies, and hears from our top entrepreneurs about how they built global companies within the East Coast ecosystem. Tribe Network is a growing entrepreneurship and innovation hub in Canada focused on providing support services for racialized entrepreneurs and their startups.

“We’re looking forward to hosting Entrevestor Live at our new headquarters and inviting our community of founders to this special event,” said Alfred Burgesson, CEO of Tribe Network. “If we fulfill our mandate, someday soon racialized founders will be on the stage in future Entrevestor Live events as some of the most successful entrepreneurs in the region.”

The half-day event will begin with a luncheon, which will feature several of the innovation-driven companies gaining traction under the tutelage of the Tribe team. Burgesson and Entrevestor Principals Peter and Carol Moreira will also detail the new partnership between their organizations.

This year’s conference will be chaired and hosted by noted academic and entrepreneur Dr. Dhirendra Shukla, and will feature iconic East Coast innovation companies like BIOVECTRA, Mysa Smart Thermostats, Proposify, Radian6, Kinduct and LeadSift.

Tribe is a community of Black, Indigenous and People of Colour pursuing entrepreneurship and innovation in Canada. Its vision is a world where BIPOC founders are at the forefront of entrepreneurship and innovation.
