Tribe Network, which is a support organization for Black entrepreneurs and business owners in Atlantic Canada, is commencing its first Black Start-Up Project Roadshow — a series of networking events for Entrepreneurs of Colour.
With tour dates scheduled in multiple cities and towns across Atlantic Canada, the Roadshow is open to Black business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs and will feature question and answer-based panels with Black business luminaries.
Event locations will include Halifax on May 10 (Monday is the last day to RSVP.), St. John’s and Digby, among others. A virtual kickoff event was also held Sunday.
Founded in 2021 by CEO Alfred Burgesson, Tribe Network, has developed a platform that allows entrepreneurs from BIPOC – Black, Indigenous and People of Colour – communities to accelerate their growth by linking with appropriate support organizations.
As well as Burgesson, the Tribe Network team includes serial entrepreneur Sally Ng, who joined as CEO earlier this year, and long-time mentor Permjot Valia as an advisor.
