Atlantic Canadian technology industry group TechImpact has launched a new platform to match New Brunswick-based technology service companies with customers in the province and globally.
Dubbed CollabHub, the service is bilingual. Companies can sign up to be included in a directory, which potential customers around the world can then browse. It also also includes a careers page to help individual users find work in New Brunswick’s technology sector.
“We created CollabHub because businesses and economic development agencies told us they struggled to find local technology companies to help them with their digital needs and didn’t know enough about where to find our province’s diverse and capable talent,” said TechImpact CEO Cathy Simpson in a press release. “CollabHub fills that void.”
The platform’s development is being paid for with the help of a $3.7 million grant from the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency, some of which is also being spent on Digital Boost 2.0 -- a program to help companies develop cohesive strategies for their use of technology.
