Securicy, the Sydney startup that helps companies develop cybersecurity programs, is hosting a series of free webinars to help small businesses protect themselves from cybercriminals.
The first webinar will be live-streamed on July 5 at 2 pm AST. You can register free here.
The live-streamed webinar will highlight the three fundamental goals of cybersecurity: how to create security awareness; establishing a security team leader; and the procedures for documenting policies.
“It’s common for small business owners to believe they are too small to fall victim to cyber criminals,” said Securicy in a press release. “In reality, small businesses are being targeted by cyber criminals because the business owners don’t believe they need a cybersecurity program in place.”
Securicy was established in 2016 by Darren Gallop, the founder of Martcato Digital Solutions, and Laird Wilton. Securicy is a software-as-a-service product that helps enterprises navigate the complex routes to make sure they are compliant with their clients’ and partners’ cybersecurity standards. This field is so complex that even tech entrepreneurs are often asked for material they’ve never heard of.
Securicy recently went through the Techstars accelerator in Boston.
