At Entrevestor, we’re launching our second annual survey for oceantech startups across Canada, and we’re looking for founders willing to take a few minutes to complete it.

We produce two major reports each year. Early in 2023 we will release our Canadian Oceantech Data Report, with our 10th Atlantic Canadian Startup Data Report to follow in the summer. Entrevestor has partnered with the Ocean Startup Project and Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency on the Oceans report. This will involve pan-Canadian research, and we hope it will build on the baseline data we produced with our first report last year.

Our survey for Canadian oceantech or bluetech startups is now live, so if you run an ocean startup based anywhere in Canada, please take a few minutes to complete this simple, 13-point questionnaire. It should take no more than three minutes.

You can find the survey here:

All your answers will be completely confidential, and you can skip any questions you don’t feel comfortable answering. We only publish aggregated data. We do NOT publish data on individual companies.

We are hoping for completed surveys from oceantech startups across the country and representing all stages of development. Some questions ask for data as of Dec. 31, 2022. We believe that we’re close enough to year-end that CEOs will know what their staffing, funding and revenue will be by the end of December. The deadline to complete the survey is Dec. 15.

The responses of oceantech startups based in Atlantic Canada will also be used for our general Atlantic Canadian startup report for 2022. We will not have to survey these companies a second time.

We will launch the general Atlantic Canadian startup survey after we have finished the oceantech report.

We'd like to thank all the founders who take the time to complete the survey.
