Oceantech startups are invited to apply to the Gulf Blue Navigator, a new accelerator recently launched by SeaAhead and the University of Southern Mississippi Research Foundation.
The Gulf Blue Navigator is for global post-pilot companies seeking to benefit from direct access to the Gulf of Mexico, organizers said in a statement. Participants will have the opportunity for testing, validation, market access, and funding.
The partners are recruiting across the bluetech spectrum, but are especially interested in companies with applications in marine aquaculture, uncrewed systems, sea and space systems, coastal resiliency, ocean data and analytics, ocean-friendly plastics, and the future of maritime/smart ports.
The six-month program will start this summer. Contact navigator@sea-ahead.com with questions.
Applications are open until August 1.
