Dalhousie University’s Dal Innovates entrepreneurship hub will offer a three-day workshop about how to apply entrepreneurial thinking to scientific research and career planning in academia.

Slated to run from Jan. 26 to 28, the Path2Innovation workshop will be held virtually and is intended to help academics prepare to participate in Dal Innovates' Lab2Market accelerator -- a 16-week program to help researchers validate their ideas and find commercial opportunities in their work. The program is based on similar offerings that have found success in other parts of the world.

Path2Innovation is being paid for by the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency and is open to anyone who is a student, faculty member or postdoctoral fellow at a university in Atlantic Canada.

The deadline to apply is Jan.21 and an application form can be found here.
