Trip Ninja has struck a partnership with Britain’s A1 Travel Deals under which the Halifax company’s FareStruture technology will be integrated with Globehunters.com, a subsidiary of A1 Travel serving the U.K.

Trip Ninja is a software-as-a-service company that has built a travel planning and booking platform to help travellers book the cheapest routes for multi-city travel. FareStructure searches all possible combinations of one-way, round-trip, and open flights to provide the cheapest multi-city route for travellers. The companies said it will allow Globehunters’ customers to find the most competitive prices on multi-city itineraries.

“We at Trip Ninja are delighted to partner with Globehunters,” said Trip Ninja CEO Andres Collart in a statement released Tuesday. “As those in the travel industry look for new ways to improve their booking technology, we are happy to provide cost-effective solutions for both agent and traveller.”

Trip Ninja said its purpose is to increase the revenue and efficiency of travel agencies, both online and offline, with innovative technological solutions. Multi-city trips make up a low percentage of searches, but account for a much higher percentage of profit for agencies.

Said A1 Travel General Manager Spiros Maragkoudakis: “We always strive to offer our customers the best available flight deals at competitive rates, and we are highly confident that this partnership will enhance the variety of our offerings.”
