We’re asking all founders of Atlantic Canadian startups to fill in our survey, which we believe will help the startup community and support mental health.
We launched our survey yesterday, keeping it to just 15 questions so it can be completed in a couple of minutes. And we appreciate the founders who have already completed it, and would encourage others to do so as well.
For each completed survey filled in by an innovation-driven startup based in the region by Feb.19, we’ll donate $10 to the Canadian Mental Health Association, capping the donation at $2,000.
This is the second year we’ve combined the survey with a donation to a charity. Last year, we donated $1,330 to the Canadian Red Cross to help alleviate the suffering created by the wildfires in Australia. (This was before the pandemic broke out, and the Australian bushfires were front and centre on everyone’s minds at the time.)
The pandemic has heightened concerns about mental health, and the CMHA seems like the most appropriate charity for us to support this year.
The survey is the cornerstone of our annual startup data report, which is a primary reference document for policy-makers when they design their programs. Please take a few minutes to fill out the survey so we can get the best data possible for our next report.
