Halifax-based conference organizer Jameson Group is looking for cleantech startups to compete in a pitch challenge at its 19th annual Smart Energy Event, attended by a roster of about 400 national delegates from the smart energy industry.
Winning applicants will have the chance to invite up to 20 guests to hear their 15-minute pitches, as well as have a shorter, five-minute pitch hosted on the Smart Energy conference website. They will also have the option of paying $325 to present on the main exhibition floor.
“This year’s theme ‘Actioning Innovative Pathways to NetZero’ is timely and certain to capture the interest of community programmers, energy planners, utilities, engineers, integrators, efficiency, hydrogen advocates, manufacturers, innovators, policy makers, and service providers alike,” said Jameson Group in an emailed statement.
The companies selected to pitch will also be eligible to win a $5,000 prize.
The Smart Energy Event will be held April 17 and 18, and the deadline to apply is April 3.
