The Future of Hockey Lab in Halifax is looking for a Chief Program Officer, which headlines our Job of the Week column today.
The Future of Hockey Lab says it is the first social innovation lab in the world working to solve access in the sport of hockey. It was established because, while hockey is loved by many, it's only truly accessible to a select few, and that number gets smaller every year because of such problems as cost, culture, representation, sense of belonging, commitment, and facilities. The Future of Hock Lab tries to solve these problems.
The Job of the Week column features openings posted on the Entrevestor Job Board, which focuses on jobs in technology, innovation and startups in Atlantic Canada. The Entrevestor Job Board helps match job openings and candidates in the tech and startup communities and is operated by Entrevestor and Alongside.

If the position and work described below speaks to you, if it gives you that feeling in your belly, then please, even if you don't have all of the qualifications, apply anyway. We are looking for someone that really gets it. Someone who cares about this work and its impact. We aren't looking for someone who just checks boxes.

Let's start here. Let's start now.
Through partnerships with some of the world’s most well-known brands – Scotiabank, Canadian Tire Jumpstart Charities, Hockey Canada, and Bauer – the very first Future of Hockey Lab is located in Nova Scotia with proven methods to be scaled across all borders for broader impact.
