An opening for a product development engineer at Moncton-based MASITEK Instruments Inc. is the focus of our Job of the Week column today.
MASITEK is a six-year-old company that produces hardware to help food and beverage producers prevent damage to containers and other accidents that can jam and delay a production line. Its main product is like a fake bottle with pressure-sensitive devises. It detects pressure points and logjams on the production lines of food and beverage producers to reduce stoppages and improve productivity.

The product development engineer must develop and launch new and/or improved products to the company’s product line. He or she will play a major role in new product development activities such as research, design, and testing to bring products from concept to market. The engineer will also work with the company leadership and the technical team to support the research and development road map and creation of design documents. MASITEK is looking for someone with strong problem-solving abilities that can be applied to electromechanical design challenges.
