MaRS on the Rock in Newfoundland is hosting two workshops that will discuss the Business Model Canvas and Value Proposition/Customer Interviews. The workshops will be held in the Genesis Centre at Memorial University in Newfoundland in the coming weeks.

MOTR is a series of business development programs put on through a partnership with the province and the MaRS Discovery District in Toronto, which is Canada’s largest innovation hub.

MaRS focuses primarily on four sectors: Energy and Environment, Finance and Commerce, Work and Learning and Health. Its programming came to Newfoundland in early 2016 to help create a culture of innovation on the island.

MOTR aims to create a collaborative approach to business leadership and is open to a variety of people: entrepreneurs, governments, coorporate leaders, students and educators.

The Business Canvas Model workshop will take place Tuesday, Aug. 7th, 9am-5pm, and the program on Value Proposition/Customer interviews willbe held the next Monday, Aug. 13th, also from 9am to 5pm.

Both workhops cost $200 to attend and are open to anyone, regardless of their tech experience. Genesis is not able to accept payments online so attendees must pay at the door with either cash or cheque.

You can register for the workshops here and here.
