Applications are open for the Clean Leadership Summer Internship Program, which is targeting Nova Scotians between the ages of 15 and 30.

This year, over 100 internship positions are available, offering roles that aim to provide youth with lifelong skills and an enhanced appreciation of the environment and their communities.

Run by the Clean Foundation, a Dartmouth-based charity, the program provides interns with hands-on experience, mentorship and professional development training during nine and 15-week placements.

The Indigenous stream employs youth who self-identify as Indigenous. For the first time this year, the African Nova Scotia stream will employ youth who self-identify as Black or an individual of African descent.

Applications close March 17. Apply here.
