We're delighted to post for the first -- and certainly not the last -- time a joint panel with Startup Kitchen.

We've taped a discussion among Startup Kitchen's Robert Foley and Suhaim Abdussamad and me, covering a few of the big startup stories in the region this month. The topics include the recent controversy over the First Angel Network, the wave of hirings and East Coast Startup Week.

Startup Kitchen is a Fredericton-based operation that broadcasts interviews with key players in the Atlantic Canadian startup community. Given that we cover the same turf, Robert, Suhaim and I have decided to sit down together once a month and discuss what's going on in the industry.

Robert and Suhaim have done some great interviews, and they've also become big contributors to the startup arena in New Brunswick. As part of East Coast Startup Week later this month, they are organizing a Startup Weekend at University of New Brunswick. I really look forward to working with them in the future.

To view the discussion, visit the Startup Kitchen site. Hope you enjoy it. This will become a monthly feature on both sites.
