Green Shield Buys Tranquility Online

Halifax’s Tranquility Online, whose digital solution helps people deal with anxiety, has been acquired by Toronto-based health insurer Green Shield Canada for an undisclosed sum.

Deacon Says ‘Privatize Innovacorp’

Colin Deacon, the Halifax startup founder turned senator, says Nova Scotia should privatize its venture capital Crown corporation Innovacorp and instead become a limited partner in a basket of private-sector VC funds.
