Economic development agency Invest Nova Scotia is looking for applicants to the 2023-2024 edition of its Launch Export Atlantic Incubator for young companies looking to develop sales outside of Nova Scotia or Canada.

The virtual incubator will help participants develop export plans for their businesses via educational sessions on topics like logistics, export budgeting and pricing strategies, as well as one-on-one coaching. Participating companies will also join Invest Nova Scotia’s trade mission to Atlanta next May, which will include training specifically in selling to the United States market.

“Excited about growing your company and curious about expanding your sales outside of Nova Scotia and Canada but not sure how to begin? This program will help you find the answers you need and support your learning along the way,” Invest Nova Scotia promises on its website.

Participating in the incubator costs $250 and joining the trade mission costs another $250, but Invest Nova Scotia will reimburse up to 75 percent of air travel and accommodation costs for one person per company. The deadline is Sept. 1. You can learn more and apply here.
