Yesterday was officially our last day of working as reporters for Entrevestor.com as we announced in the summer that we would be retiring on Sept. 30.

Well, that’s still the plan – sort of.

We’re in talks with someone who wants to take over the company, and we haven’t quite yet signed all the papers. We’re optimistic that we’ll close this deal and plan to have an announcement within a month or so.

In the meantime, we’re going to keep on posting ecosystem announcements and news articles based on companies’ press releases, so there will still be regular news appearing on Entrevestor.com.

We’re really excited about the next phase of Entrevestor, and can tell you the next owner plans to continue with the news reports and the annual Atlantic Canada Startup Data report. It will be an exciting time for this news service.
