The New Brunswick Innovation Foundation will host a climatetech summit in Saint John Nov. 23 — this year’s iteration of the organization’s long-running R3 events, which highlight applied research in the province.

The day-long gathering will give attendees the chance to hear from and talk with players in the cleantech space and will be held at the Delta Brunswick Hotel.

NBIF describes this year’s R3 as building on its announcement earlier this year of a new, $2 million Climate Change Mitigation Fund launched jointly with business development agency Opportunities New Brunswick. Like the climate fund, R3 is a joint project between the two groups.

R3 itself, meanwhile, has been held biennially for the past 14 years. It originally took the form of an awards ceremony before being retooled to its current format.

Tickets cost $170, including tax, $148 for early birds and $113 for students. You can learn more or register here.
