Entrevestor Live, our third annual conference on Atlantic Canada's most successful startups, is coming to Halifax startup hub Volta Nov. 14. This year's theme is Going Global.
The half-day, hybrid event is dedicated to learning from the region’s greatest startup successes and dispelling the myth that Canada’s East Coast is home only to early-stage companies. To achieve that, we are preparing to showcase startups and founders that have closed major funding rounds or exits, or built businesses with significant international market share, demonstrating our Going Global theme.
Heading the proceedings this year is Dr. Dhirendra Shukla, who brings expertise both as an academic and a founder. Dr. Shukla is a Co-Founder and Chair of the Board of Fredericton-based Gray Wolf Technologies, which uses blockchain to detect cybercrimes involving cryptocurrencies. He is currently on sabbatical as the Chair of the J. Herbert Smith Centre for Technology, Management and Entrepreneurship at the University of New Brunswick.
The conference will last three hours, with a networking session afterwards, offering a bite-sized time commitment. And to make pricing even more affordable, we have partnered with the Atlantic Technology Summit, which will be held at the Cineplex on Park Lane in Halifax, to offer special pricing.
The early bird pricing for Entrevestor Live, which lasts until Sept. 15, is $70 for regular admission or $50 for students. Early bird packages bundled with Atlantic Technology Summit tickets, meanwhile cost $190, or $90 for students. Later, prices will rise to $260 for both events or $90 for just Entrevestor live.
