A group of innovation ecosystem support groups on Prince Edward Island are collaborating to host a one-day entrepreneurship conference in Charlottetown Nov. 2.
The Summit for Island Entrepreneurs and Innovators is being organized by Startup Zone, foodtech industry group the Food Island Partnership, bioscience incubator Emergence, virtual incubator Propel, Innovation P.E.I. and the law firm McInnes Cooper.
“The primary objective of this summit is to bring together PEI's entrepreneurial ecosystem in order to foster connections between founders, visionaries, and industry leaders,” said Startup Zone in a statement. “Event highlights include engaging sessions, workshops, keynote speakers, and ample networking opportunities.
“Participants will have access to keynote speakers and leaders in entrepreneurship who will be sharing invaluable insights, strategies, and stories of success and failure.”
Attendees will also be able to bundle their tickets with a Nov. 1 workshop being hosted by business intelligence platform and event host Trend Hunter, which works with mega-corporations like Red Bull, Disney and Starbucks.
Anyone interested in attending can register here. It costs $35.
