I will deliver a presentation on Thursday in Fredericton on Entrevestor’s most recent Atlantic Canadian startup data, with a special focus on New Brunswick.

The free session, which begins at 10:30 a.m., will be hosted by Opportunities New Brunswick and takes place at Planet Hatch in Knowledge Park.

Last month at Invest Atlantic in Charlottetown, I gave a similar presentation about the metrics of startups in the region in 2017. The talk outlines our data analysis, which gives the best picture available on the state of the region’s startup community. Based on surveys and interviews with founders across the region, our analysis includes such metrics as company launches, failures, employment, funding and revenues.

We’ve been posting a few articles lately on our 2017 data, focusing largely on core of high-growth corporations at the centre of the startup movement.   On Thursday, we will take a deeper dive into the metrics in New Brunswick.

Many thanks to Opportunities New Brunswick and Planet Hatch for hosting the event.

This is a great opportunity to learn about -- and ask about -- what's happening in your industry, so please come out and join us. It will be held on the eve of the University of New Brunswick TME program's Future of Innovation conference, and we hope it will be the beginning of a great weekend in Fredericton.
