St. John’s telehealth startup Cyno has inked a deal with e-learning and professional development company Bluedrop Performance Learning, also of St. John's.
Cyno will allow Bluedrop employees to access medical services remotely, including via live video and text-based messaging.
Cyno was founded in 2017 to help physiotherapists service patients outside of clinic and office hours, and has since expanded into other types of healthcare.
Bluedrop has about 200 employees, according to a press release. Service providers available to them via the Cyno app will range from MDs to yoga instructors.
Amid a crowded telehealth landscape, the press release said that Cyno is notable for its high security and privacy standards.
"This agreement with Bluedrop is an example of the flexibility and appealing array of options that our service offers to companies,” said Cyno CEO Peter Barbour in the release.
