Canada’s Ocean Supercluster is seeking proposals for projects focused on integrating artificial intelligence into the blue economy.
The call is part of a broader, Canada-wide initiative by the Supercluster to foster innovations in oceans AI, reflecting a growing trend of companies like Halifax’s OceanSync and aquaculture technology startup ReelData.
“This program will provide incremental investment into ocean AI solutions aligned with the goals of Ambition 2035, driving Canada’s ocean economy,” says the Supercluster, referring to a roadmap it has been developing in conjunction with industry.
