Halifax-based life sciences company Sona Nanotech began trading on the Canadian Securities Exchange on Thursday, having closed a deal to raise $2 million through the sale of shares.

Halifax-based BoomersPlus has closed a $1.05 million funding round, led by Innovacorp, which will help the company expand in Eastern Canada and beyond.
