Halifax-based Frenter, which sells asset-management and geofencing software for heavy equipment, is joining the Alberta chapter of Sunnyvale, Calif.-based startup funding group Plug and Play’s accelerator program, batch 4.

Frenter is one of 18 startups joining the fourth cohort of the accelerator’s sustainability stream, which is backed by major industry players like Suncor and Shell Canada.
