The Atlantic Venture Forum, or AVF will be held at the Halifax Marriott Harbourfront Hotel Sept. 13 and 14, marking the first time the annual summit has taken place in person since the beginning of the pandemic.
The event is organized by Calgary-based Critical Path Group, which describes itself as an “events, advisory and business intelligence firm” and hosts a slate of other conferences, including the Banff Venture Forum. The AVF includes networking opportunities, presentations about the latest trends in innovation and investment, and technology showcases featuring local startups and scale-ups.
“As the ecosystem continues to gain momentum, the AVF is being transformed to meet the needs of this dynamic region,” says the event website.
“New ventures and growth-stage companies need more than just financial capital to succeed. Innovation, partnerships, ingenuity, and expertise are just a few of the ingredients for an entrepreneur’s tech success story, and you will find all of these and more when you join us for the 2022 Atlantic Venture Forum.”
Each year, the AVF serves as a showcase for early- and growth-stage companies, which are able to pitch before the attendees. You can find an application to present at the event here.
Attendees will also be able to access discounted room rates on-site at the Marriot Harbourfront, but only before Aug. 12 or until rooms run out — whichever comes first.
Anyone interested in attending can register here. It costs $745 plus tax, or $999 for professional service firms.
