Startup Atlantic, a network that unites the entrepreneurial ecosystem across the four Atlantic Provinces, has been travelling with a two-stop national showcase of Atlantic Canada’s innovation economy.

The Startup Atlantic Fall Tech Roadshow included about  75 delegates representing the region’s entrepreneurs, investors, accelerators and innovation leaders at two of Canada’s premier technology events -- Elevate Festival in Toronto and SaaS North in Ottawa.

With funding support from the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency (ACOA), the delegation included 43 participants attending Elevate Festival 2025 in October, followed by 35 innovators attending SaaS North last week.

The goal was to reflect the region’s momentum as a national innovation powerhouse, with growing strength in biotech, ocean technology, clean tech, and defence innovation, as well as a collaborative, founder-first approach, the group said in a press release.

“By bringing our founders, funders, and ecosystem leaders together at major national events, we’re amplifying Atlantic Canada’s presence on the national stage and building the relationships that drive investment, talent, and growth back home,” said Lindsay Murray, Executive Director of Startup Atlantic.

Participants came from all four Atlantic Provinces, representing a cross-section of the region’s entrepreneurial ecosystem, including Propel, Volta, Invest Nova Scotia, Tribe Network, TechNL, NBIF, Genesis, Venn Innovation, Tidal Ventures, Sandpiper Ventures and Ignite.

At each event a group of Atlantic founders pitched their innovations to national investors and industry leaders.

Yash Mehta, Co-founder and CEO of Mantomo AI said: “Attending these conferences, particularly SaaS North, was a transformative experience. Every conversation, whether with a seasoned founder or investor, challenged me to see Mantomo AI through a new lens. The insights, candid advice, and tough questions not only sharpened our vision but reinforced the power of collaboration within the Atlantic tech ecosystem. These gatherings elevate our entire region’s capacity to innovate, learn, and lead.”
