We’ll be in Charlottetown on Monday to appear in a live lunch-and-learn event that will include Island Capital Partners Director of Operations Stefanie Corbett and CarbonCure Technologies President Jennifer Wagner.
My role in the program is to deliver Entrevestor’s Startup Data Presentation, which we showcase around the region every year. We’ve partnered with Island Capital and Startup Zone to hold the lunch-and-learn event at the Delta Charlottetown on Nov. 2 at noon.
You can register here to attend in person or via Zoom.
The Entrevestor presentation will be followed by addresses by: Corbett, who will discuss fundraising by early-stage and scaling companies; and Wagner, who will give the perspective of a growth-stage company.
In previous years, we’ve held in-person presentations of our startup data around the region, but this year of course most of our presentations will be held remotely. We’re delighted for an opportunity to deliver the talk to a group of people.
The Entrevestor data presentation will showcase our most recent research into Atlantic Canadian startups, with a special focus on Prince Edward Island. As well as looking at the size of the community, we will examine company metrics like employment, fundraising and revenue.
During the event, we will adhere to all guidelines to ensure social distancing. Those attending in person are required to complete a COVID-19 screening on arrival and follow all COVID-19 provincial recommendations.
