Introhive, which makes B2B sales intelligence software, has been named to the 2020 Deloitte Fast 50 Technology Awards for the second time in as many years.
The company, which is based in Fredericton and Washington, D.C., announced today that it was named the 19th fastest-growing IT company in the country, as its revenues increased 938 percent from 2016 to 2019. Last year, the global consultancy Deloitte said Introhive placed 10th in Canada with revenue growth of 1,700 percent.
For the first time ever, the Deloitte Fast 50, which recognizes Canada’s 50 fastest-growing technology companies based on three years of revenue, included three Atlantic Canadian companies. Mount Pearl, NL-based underwater robotics company Kraken Robotics, claimed the 36th position with 568 percent revenue growth, and Halifax-based proposal software maker Proposify placed 45th with revenues rising 414 percent.
“When Introhive was founded eight years ago, the mission was simple: help organizations realize the full value of their CRM relationship data and tie all of their fragmented data sources together to increase productivity,” said Introhive CEO and Founder Jody Glidden in a statement. "Our platform has evolved into a suite of artificial intelligence-based solutions that make it easier for salespeople to reach their targets and businesses to grow.”
It’s only the second time an Atlantic Canadian company has placed in the Fast 50 in back-to-back years. The only other company to do so was St. John’s-based anti-fraud software maker Verafin, which placed 25th in 2012 and 27th in 2011.
Atlantic Canada this year also had one company in the 16-member Companies-To-Watch list, which names younger companies that have the potential to join the Fast 50. Mysa Smart Thermostat of St. John's made the list.

Introhive Co-Founders Glidden and Stewart Walchli have been involved in a few companies, and sold two to Research in Motion (now BlackBerry) early in the century. In 2012, they launched Introhive to help corporate sales teams increase their connections by understanding who their colleagues knew. From there, Introhive grew into a company that helped sales teams use customer relationship management tools more effectively.
The company counts some of the world’s most recognisable brands as customers, including PwC, Deloitte, Grant Thornton, Rogers Communications, Plante Moran, Colliers International, ManPower Inc., and Hitachi Solutions.
With more than 200 employees, Introhive has offices in Fredericton, Saint John and Halifax and has continued to add key personnel recently. The company has hired its first Executive Vice-President of marketing, Bart Molenda, who has previously worked at eBay-kijiji, Freshbooks, and Square.
Dan Dowling, formerly Director of Marketing, was promoted to Senior Director of Demand Generation and will work closely with sales development reps, marketing and digital marketing teams
And Diana Sapienza has been promoted to Global Head of Strategic Alliances and Partnerships. She will be leading Introhive’s global partner team as they continue to form strategic alliances to support growth.
“I’m so proud of the team that’s gotten us here,” said Glidden. “This award showcases their hard work and tireless effort to make Introhive’s mission a reality as we continue to expand our footprint in over 100 countries with many of the world’s most iconic B2B brands.”
