Halifax-based Innovation hub Volta is inviting applications for its Women Taking over the World with Tech pitch competition.

The contest is for founders identifying as female working within the Atlantic Canadian tech ecosystem and offers feedback from experienced entrepreneurs, potential investors and community leaders. Competitors also have the chance to win a $500 Visa gift card.

The free Zoom event will be held Tuesday, March 30 between 6 and 8pm AST. Founders must apply to pitch before March 22.

Judging will be based on the pitch, not the business, and will focus on presentation quality and content, organizers said in a statement.
