      <description><![CDATA[<p>Three Atlantic Canadian startups &ndash; Aeon Blue, Aurea Technologies and Tracktile &ndash; were selected to pitch to investors at the 2026 NACO Summit held in Ottawa this week.</p>

<p>The three companies were among 27 pitching at <a href="https://summit.nacocanada.com/moonshots" target="_blank">Moonshot Ventures</a>, which was a group of innovation-driven companies from across Canada. They were chosen from more than 100 ventures nominated by member organizations of <a href="https://nacocanada.com/" target="_blank">NACO</a>, or the National Angel Capital Organization, which represents more than 4,000 Canadian angel investors.</p>

<p>NACO said the ventures pitching at Moonshot this year had collectively raised more than $190 million.</p>]]></description>

<p>The company, founded by Gregg Curwin, produces nutritional supplements made from freeze-dried micro-greens and operates under the GoMicro brand.</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>A year after securing federal funding to lead the Atlantic region&rsquo;s participation in the national <a href="https://labs4.ca/" target="_blank">Labs 4</a> network, the&nbsp;<a href="https://www.nscc.ca/" target="_blank">Nova Scotia Community College</a> is celebrating a successful first year.</p>

<p>Labs 4 supports early-stage research commercialization with the aim of strengthening inter-institutional collaboration and helping student founders move closer to market, the group said in a press release.</p>

<p>As the Atlantic Hub for Labs 4, NSCC coordinates a network of post-secondary institutions that support students and recent alumni working at early technology readiness levels, the group said.</p>

<p>The Idea Challenge is the OSP&rsquo;s entry-level competition, in which novice oceantech entrepreneurs can conduct customer discovery and get an idea of whether their idea could lead to a viable business. Successful teams can graduate to the Ocean Startup Challenge, for teams developing a business.</p>

      <description><![CDATA[<p><a href="https://netzeroatlantic.ca/emerging-concepts-and-technologies-research-program" target="_blank">Net Zero Atlantic&rsquo;s Emerging Concepts &amp; Technologies Research Program</a> has received funding from the New Brunswick Innovation Foundation, with a further $1.15 million investment from Natural Resources Canada.</p>

<p>NRCan&rsquo;s funding builds on previous contributions and the program is now expanding in scale, the group said in a statement.</p>
